1. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE SOCIAL AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.2. THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL HARMONY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY:(A) EDUCATING THE PUBLIC AND RAISING AWARENESS ON THE SUBJECT OF RACIAL DIVERSITY AND EQUALITY.(B) PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT FOR THOSE OF DIFFERENT RACIAL BACKGROUNDS AND THEIR CULTURES.(C) THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE.IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE PURPOSES THE TRUSTEES WILL ADDITIONALLY PROMOTE RESEARCH IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE ABOVE AND PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
