Mission
The foundation is a non-profit organization and pursues the following purposes: a) Animal welfare, conservation of biodiversity and endangered animals, prevention of animal cruelty and the abuse of animals for research and experimental purposes, and the housing and care of stray animals; b) Nature and plant conservation, conservation of plant biodiversity; c) Conservation and reforestation of rainforests; d) Protection of the world's oceans and marine animals; e) Support for research in the areas of animal welfare, plant and nature conservation, environmental protection, and animal and plant biodiversity; f) Support for chronically ill, disabled, mentally and/or physically disabled, and needy individuals; g) Support for research in the field of infectious diseases (AIDS, etc.), measures to prevent or alleviate infectious diseases through education and awareness; h) Support for research in the field of dementia (Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, etc.); i) Cancer research, cancer prevention, cancer therapy, and cancer aftercare. j) Providing healthcare support to low-income individuals and those who have fallen into emergency situations through no fault of their own by financing life-saving therapies and treatments; k) Supporting highly gifted musicians and artists up to the age of 25. The foundation fulfills its purpose by promoting and supporting projects, organizations, institutions, and individuals dedicated to the aforementioned purposes and who guarantee that in-kind or monetary donations received from the foundation are used efficiently, economically, and in accordance with the foundation's objectives. The foundation is active in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation is a non-profit organization and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
