Identify high-asset foundations as potential clients
Foundation prospecting for private banking and wealth management.
How your work changes
What shifts when you move from public registers and spreadsheets to Fundraiso.
- Pulling prospect lists from scattered public sources.
- Manual due diligence — re-collecting governance and asset data per prospect.
- Hard to track which foundations are already in the CRM pipeline.
- Filter by asset size, sector and region — prospect lists in minutes.
- Structured data on governance, board, holdings and historical filings.
- Export-ready CSVs straight for Salesforce, HubSpot or your internal CRM.
What you concretely get
Foundations are a structurally underserved client segment in wealth management. In Switzerland and Liechtenstein alone, around 15,000 charitable foundations manage assets of over CHF 150 billion — many of them without a dedicated institutional asset manager. Fundraiso delivers the structured data to systematically tap this segment: asset size, governing bodies, historical filings and funding behaviour in a searchable register.
How asset managers use Fundraiso
Foundations are an often underserved client segment for asset and real estate managers. Fundraiso delivers the structured data to identify, qualify and serve them long-term.
Prospecting. Filter by asset size, sector focus and region to build prospect lists of foundations that match your service offering. Export as CSV or directly into your CRM.
Due diligence & monitoring. Look up governance, board composition and historical filings during onboarding and ongoing servicing of foundation mandates.
Funding intelligence. See which foundations actually fund what: grant records, funded organisations and asset composition reveal a foundation's real giving behaviour and capacity — not just its registered purpose. The full financials layer is included in the Business plan.
Frequently asked questions
Per foundation we capture master data (name, legal form, seat, UID, founding date, purpose), asset data (total assets where public, annual reports for large foundations), governance information (governing bodies, historical filings) and funding behaviour (focus areas, funded organisations). Completeness depends on the register entry and public data availability.
Master data from official registers (Swiss commercial register, Liechtenstein foundation register, GB Charities UK) is synchronised daily. Asset and annual report data is updated as it becomes available — yearly depending on the source. New formations and dissolutions are captured within 24–48 hours.
Fundraiso captures the publicly available officers in each register — for foundations typically the foundation board and management. A full UBO investigation for KYC/AML purposes is not what Fundraiso replaces and should be complemented with specialised compliance tools.
