The non-profit association aims to create and support holistically thought-out development projects that particularly take into account human dignity and self-determination, as well as the preservation of the environment. Exchange programs among such projects are specifically promoted. Humanitarian aid can also be provided in times of need. To raise awareness, members and supporters are regularly informed about the project work and its context.

EcoSolidar – Focusing on Humanity

EcoSolidar is a development organization that facilitates local projects in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, as well as development policy initiatives in Switzerland. EcoSolidar stands for development cooperation that helps people help themselves, treats nature and the environment with respect, and promotes the independent development of partner organizations. This remains sustainable because our project partners formulate and implement their own needs and goals. Nothing foreign is imposed from outside, and cultural aspects are given significant importance. The goal of the collaboration is a life of dignity. The project partners are supported and empowered in their independent actions; Avoiding new dependencies is our highest priority.
