The foundation's purpose is to provide residents and citizens of the municipality of Speicher, as well as other customers, with the opportunity to securely invest their savings with interest, interest-free, or negative interest, as well as to grant loans. To fulfill this purpose, it conducts all transactions within the usual scope of a regional bank. This includes, in particular, the following transactions: 1. Acceptance of funds - as savings deposits, on current accounts, on fixed-term and deposit accounts, and the like - against the issuance of medium-term notes - through borrowings in other customary banking forms 2. Investment of funds - in domestic mortgages - in loans, current account advances, and bill credits - in securities and other customary banking investments - in domestic real estate 3. Provision of customary banking services such as: - Buying and selling securities, foreign currencies, foreign notes, and precious metals for the account of third parties - Safekeeping and management of securities and valuables, leasing of safe deposit boxes, etc. - Processing of payment transactions Unsecured loans may only be granted to a limited extent and under the condition that the Board of Trustees has sufficient insight into the borrower's financial and personal circumstances. Speculation and industrial participation are prohibited. The Foundation is authorized to acquire and invest in real estate for the purpose of secure investment.
