The purpose of the company is to conduct all types of financial transactions within the Markant Group, specifically granting loans to borrowers in Switzerland and abroad, asset management, and providing advice on the money and capital markets. The company exclusively provides financial services that are permitted under the Financial Services Act, the Banking Act, the Financial Institutions Act, the Collective Investment Schemes Act, the Financial Market Infrastructure Act, and the Insurance Supervision Act without authorization or other fulfillment of regulatory obligations (including affiliation and registration requirements). The company provides such financial services exclusively to institutional investors with professional treasury departments within the Markant Group. Publicly soliciting the acceptance of third-party funds and acting as a securities firm are prohibited. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, acquire interests in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, and conduct all business directly or indirectly related to its purpose. The company may acquire, encumber, sell, manage, and exploit real estate, intellectual property rights, and financial investments both domestically (in Switzerland) and abroad. It may also provide financing for its own account or for the account of others, as well as issue guarantees and sureties for subsidiaries and third parties within the Markant Group, and provide other forms of security. The company may engage in all commercial activities that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose and take all measures that appear appropriate to promote or are related to that purpose.
