Fondation Charles Neuhaus

The foundation operates a versatile museum for history, art and archeology in the properties Schüsspromenade 24, 24a, 26 and 28 and Seevorstadt 52, 54 and 56 - possibly with the participation of partner organizations and possibly in other buildings in Biel. The foundation manages its properties in the interest of long-term preservation of the museum and its premises. The external appearance of the buildings Schüsspromenade 26 and 28 must not be changed. The portraits of the family of the founder, Ms. Dora Neuhaus, are exhibited in a room in the museum, called the Charles Neuhaus-Verdan-Saal.
