Mission
make available, in the canton of Geneva, buildings, premises and infrastructure in the field of real estate and conferences for the following institutional beneficiaries, if they enjoy a privileged status within the meaning of Federal law on privileges, immunities and facilities, as well as on financial aid granted by Switzerland as host state of 22 June 2007 (LEH, RS 192.12): a. Intergovernmental organizations (art. 2 para. 1 letter a LEH); b. International institutions (art. 2 para. 1 letter b LEH); vs. Secretariats or other bodies created by an international treaty (art. 2 para. 1 letter i LEH); d. International courts (art 2 para. 1 let. K LEH); e. International quasi-governmental organizations (art. 2 let. C LEH). 3 The foundation also aims to make such buildings, premises and infrastructure available to international non-governmental organizations (art. 25 LEH). 4 The foundation may, exceptionally, make such premises and infrastructure available to the following institutional beneficiaries, if they enjoy a privileged status within the meaning of the LEH: a. Permanent missions or other representations to intergovernmental organizations (art. 2 para. 1 letter f LEH); b. International conferences (art. 2 para. 1 let. H LEH); vs. The independent committees (art. 2 para. 1 let. J LEH); d. Arbitral tribunals (art. 2 para. 1 let. I LEH); e. Other international organizations (art. 2 para. 1 let. M LEH); f. Associations and foundations whose activities meet the goals defined in art. 18 LEH. 5 The foundation may, exceptionally, provide premises and infrastructure in the field of conferences at international meetings or in connection with international Geneva that do not meet the conditions of para. 2, 3 and 4 of this article. 6 The foundation may, exceptionally, in the event that the interests of Switzerland's reception policy imperatively so require, exercise its activities in other cantons. Once the decision in principle has been taken by the foundation, the representatives of the cantonal authorities concerned may be invited to participate, in an advisory capacity, in the deliberations of the council to deal with these matters. 7 With the agreement of the board, the foundation is authorized to handle all service activities, in particular management and advice, in the real estate field and conferences in connection with international Geneva. 8 The foundation has no profit motive.
