A. Social-charitable partial purpose: The purpose of the foundation is to support, promote and initiate projects and institutions that are committed to solving social problems and developing poor or underdeveloped areas in Switzerland and the rest of the world, especially in poor or disadvantaged countries, deploy; promoting the upbringing and vocational training of children and young people, especially talented children and young people, including the education and support of young people and young adults in the development of musical and artistic skills; the support and promotion of scientific research and teaching; and to a degree subordinate to the above purposes: the promotion of music as a public cultural task and of sport, insofar as its promotion is in the public interest. B. Ecclesiastical-religious sub-purpose: The foundation also aims; Supporting the Catholic Church and its institutions, works and projects in fulfilling their tasks in Switzerland and the rest of the world in the areas of education, upbringing, research, pastoral care, pastoral or religious theory and practice as well as development and social assistance; the support of the Catholic Church with regard to the implementation of infrastructural projects as well as with regard to the maintenance and operation of its facilities in Switzerland (especially in the diocese in which the foundation is based) and the rest of the world; the support and promotion of all endeavors, measures and infrastructures or organizations that serve the research, dissemination, preservation, further education and deepening of the Catholic faith, both in Switzerland and in the area of the Catholic world church; and the support and advancement of people (especially sick, needy or elderly people and people who hold church or religious offices and functions) who belong to the Catholic community at home and abroad.
