Hippotherapie-Zentrum

The purpose of the foundation is to establish and operate a treatment and training center for hippotherapy. In particular: (1.) hippotherapy should be made possible as a therapeutic measure using horses for people with disabilities in the region; (2.) other horse-assisted therapy forms such as therapeutic and psychotherapeutic riding as well as riding and other interventions with horses for people with disabilities should be made possible; (3.) the training and further education of therapists and assistants in horse-assisted therapy should be promoted; (4.) the development of scientific principles for horse-assisted therapy should be made possible in cooperation with the University Hospital of Basel and other suitable scientific institutions; (5.) the training of suitable horses should be carried out. Properties can be used for other activities for the benefit of people with disabilities if this does not affect the fulfillment of the foundation's purpose.
