Kimunyong Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is: - To support the scientific work on Dr. Kim Un-yong, father of Olympic Taekwondo and the teachings of Taekwondo and Olympic ideals; - the promotion of Christian ethics, which Dr. Kim Un-yong is a central foundation for fair play and sportsmanship; - the promotion of international sport and cultural exchange and thereby also the promotion of mutual understanding, friendship and international peace; - the promotion of sporting youth, especially young sportswomen; - the support of talented, young athletes who want to use their training, discipline and leadership experience in the field of sport diplomacy or a related international career; - the recognition of exceptional achievements by individuals or organizations that reflect the spirit and values of the Kimunyong Foundation. The foundation fulfills its purpose through: - Contributions to charitable and non-profit organizations in Switzerland and abroad; - Scholarships for young athletes; - Contributions to scientific projects. In addition, the foundation can undertake all acts and legal transactions that are suitable for promoting the purpose of the foundation. The foundation is not for profit and does not seek any profit.
