The Kinderspitex Nordwestschweiz is a non-profit association founded in 1997 and a public mandate from the municipalities and cantons.

**Assignment **

So that care at home is possible in the familiar environment, Kinderspitex offers the families concerned, with professionally qualified staff, professional, needs-based care. The Kinderspitex Nordwestschweiz (NWCH) is in contact with other organizations and institutions (children's hospitals, pediatricians, child and youth psychiatrists, those affected, local Spitex services, Pro Infirmis, Cancer League, etc.) and works closely with them. Cooperation with the treating doctors is assumed. According to the service mandates, Kinderspitex Nordwestschweiz has an obligation to perform for all needs-based assignments in the catchment area. This is the basic outpatient care for children and adolescents guaranteed.

Financing

Billing takes place via health insurance companies and disability insurance, supplemented by contributions from the public sector and donations.
