The purpose of the company is the manufacture, processing, and packaging of scales, instruments, measuring devices and systems, as well as the IT and network components (hardware and software) used with these products, primarily (but not exclusively) as a manufacturer for affiliated companies and third parties, and the provision of services to affiliated companies and third parties, especially in connection with contract manufacturing, engineering services, general contracting, maintenance, spare parts manufacturing, and IT support. The company also aims to support affiliated companies, particularly financially, and may specifically provide financing for its own account or for the account of others, grant loans to group companies, and issue guarantees and sureties for group companies. The company may establish subsidiaries and branches and participate in other companies. The company may acquire, hold, encumber, and dispose of real estate and intellectual property rights. The company may also engage in all commercial, financial, and other activities that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose. The company may grant loans and other direct or indirect financing to group companies and third parties, including its (direct and indirect) shareholders and their group companies, including within the framework of cash pooling agreements, and provide security of any kind for their liabilities, including by means of pledges of or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether for consideration or not.
