The purpose of the foundation is to create, generate and be responsible for framework conditions for more visibility, respect and fairness for innovations, products, works and economic and scientific projects operated and maintained by African and black people. In this context, the foundation places Africa, black and African people at the center of its activities. She communicates free of postcolonial and discriminatory rhetoric and rejects exoticizing imagery. The foundation acts to create equal opportunities and to overcome socio-economic inequalities and poverty in all its manifestations. To fulfill this purpose, the MOA Foundation is dedicated to the promotion of innovations, products, projects, works and economic as well as scientific endeavors that are run and held by African and Black people. In addition, the foundation is dedicated to the inclusive empowerment of Black and African people regardless of their place of residence, age, gender identity, sexuality, creed, or their origin. In terms of fulfilling the purpose of the MOA Foundation, being black is not defined by skin color, but by self-identification based on one's own origins. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any profit-making purpose.
