More funding commitments with less research time

For fundraisers who secure funding commitments instead of maintaining spreadsheets.

How your work changes

What shifts when you move from public registers and spreadsheets to Fundraiso.

Today
  • Searching public registers by hand, copying URLs into a spreadsheet.
  • No overview — who was contacted when, where is the process?
  • Cold-mailing every funder; foundations rarely find you on their own.
  • Tags only in Excel — at the next project the classification starts over.
  • Everyone researches alone — lessons from past applications stay in one head.
With Fundraiso
  • Filter 58,000+ foundations by area of impact in seconds.
  • Per foundation: notes, status and priority — you keep track of what's running where.
  • Publish your project profile — foundations actively search for funding candidates.
  • Flags as a global layer — mark foundations across lists by your own criteria.
  • Benefit from the experience of other fundraisers — through public comments per foundation.

How NGOs use Fundraiso

Most NGOs aren't short on the idea — they're short on the time to find the right funders. Fundraiso shortens that research from days to minutes: filter over 58,000 foundations by region, theme and funding type and save the promising contacts.

Research with structure. Per foundation: notes, processing status and priority within your project lists. With flags you mark foundations across lists by your own criteria — for application phases or thematic groupings.

Publish projects. Put your project into the public catalog and become visible to foundations that actively search for funding projects in your area.

Fundraiso saves time and money in the fundraising process. Thanks to Fundraiso we've been able to generate donations in the millions over the past years.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, the basic search is free for everyone. The Free plan includes 20 search results and one favorites list. For more extensive research, more lists and exports we offer paid plans.

Fundraiso integrates data from the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SHAB), the ZEFIX commercial register, the electronic foundation register of Liechtenstein, GB Charities (UK) and other registers. All sources are automatically updated on a regular basis and enriched by our research team.

Master data from registers is synchronised daily. Newly founded and dissolved foundations are typically available in the database within 24–48 hours. Enriched data such as funding focus areas or contact information is maintained continuously by our team.

Yes. In the Fundraiso project catalog you can publish your project with description, area of impact, target audience and funding need. Foundations actively looking for matching funding candidates discover your project through it — flipping the usual direction (NGO looking for foundation). The catalog complements your own foundation research, it doesn't replace it.

Fundraiso categorises foundations by areas of impact such as healthcare, development, animal welfare, culture and arts, sports, social affairs, education, and science and research. Each foundation can belong to multiple categories. A full overview of all themes is available under Themes.

Fundraiso isn't just a database, it's also a community. Users can leave public comments on foundations — about application processes, contact people or successful collaborations. These comments are visible to all Fundraiso users and are moderated. They're a valuable knowledge pool that goes beyond the raw register data.
