The main purpose of the foundation is to cover the housing, care and nursing needs of older people who are residents of the communities of Therwil, Biel-Benken and Ettingen. In particular, the Blumenrain Foundation operates outpatient, intermediate and inpatient services. As part of its main purpose, it can also offer decentralized assisted living and home care services, as well as other services for older people and their relatives. The foundation can also extend its housing, care and service offerings to people of all ages in need of support and care in the above-mentioned communities. If the foundation's capacities allow it, the foundation can also provide its services to people who live in other communities.
