The purpose of the foundation is to promote measures so that all people around the world have easier, safer and more reliable access to clean water. To this end, the foundation supports water projects, educational initiatives and projects for the conscious use of water worldwide. To achieve this, the foundation can create or acquire a Swiss-wide and internationally protected trademark and license its use to third parties. With the funds thus generated, with the support of specific projects by third parties and funds acquired from other sources, such as gifts and inheritances, the foundation neither pursues the self-interests of the founders nor profit-making purposes, but exclusively and to the greatest possible extent goals that are in the general interest lie. The group of beneficiaries is the general public in the broadest sense, regardless of religious, ideological, political and national criteria. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not seek any profit.
