The Switzerland ForAfrika Foundation is a Christian humanitarian aid and development organization whose purpose is to help people in crisis and emergency areas. The focus of the work is helping children, families and their environment to help themselves in the fight against poverty and hunger. The foundation's assistance for people in need is independent of ethnic origin, religious and political views or gender. The foundation works exclusively for the benefit of the public and is not profit-oriented. The purpose of the foundation is achieved through the procurement of funds, which are used as follows: Provision of food, complete meals and (emergency) accommodation, clothing and relief supplies for the socially particularly disadvantaged, such as the physically and mentally handicapped, the permanently ill (e.g. AIDS patients ), the homeless, old people and children, especially orphans, training for such people who are particularly disadvantaged, medical care and the transport of relief goods to crisis and disaster areas, care and support for families affected by HIV / AIDS, drinking water supplies, granting of microcredits and development aid for small businesses, implementation of practical aid missions, support for sustainable development projects which aim to improve the general living conditions of the affected population and which permanently remedy the above-mentioned problem areas, in the sense of helping them to become self-sufficient help. In order to achieve its purpose, the foundation is entitled to rent, acquire, manage and sell real estate and land and to hire employees. The foundation can merge with other foundations with the same or similar objectives. It has an exclusively and irrevocably charitable and non-profit character and does not pursue any profit-making purposes. The Switzerland ForAfrika Foundation can cede the funds to domestic and foreign corporations that use the funds in line with the foundation's purpose for the benefit of disadvantaged people. The foundation is non-denominational and politically neutral.
