the creation, development and promotion of digital solutions and IT tools dedicated to the application of technologies, policies and practices in favor of the trust economy, i.e. an economy where products, services and data are guaranteed authentic and certified. The foundation aims to establish and bring together an international community in an ecosystem based on values of authenticity, integrity and fairness, particularly in the areas of consumer protection, investor protection, and the protection of human and citizen rights. In particular, it supports the development and promotion of decentralized certification protocols that allow the community to set up consensus mechanisms and standards and to rule on the truthfulness, conformity or authenticity of a tangible or intangible good. The foundation may conduct educational and training activities, research and development, promotion, including the organisation of events, the development of a network of partners and participate in other companies or projects related to the achievement of the purpose and related fields as well as disseminate new knowledge in these fields at national and international level. The foundation pursues its purpose by awarding donations to third parties, by carrying out projects or by collaborating with other organisations. Within the framework set by the purposes, the Foundation may delegate its duties to other organisations, create or support these organisations. The foundation may also contribute to the development and hold brands, intellectual property rights or licences, grant usage rights to other entities. The foundation is active in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation works for public utility purposes, is not for profit and does not seek any profit. The Foundation may, within the framework of its purposes, operate a commercial enterprise.
