Mission

The Alfred Kordelin General Progress and Education Fund supports science and culture. Application periods are in August and January of each year. Grants are awarded for sciences, literature, arts and public education. The Foundation awards primarily personal working grants. Project grants can be awarded to working groups and collectives. Finnish citizens and citizens of other countries who live in Finland can apply for working grants for work performed predominantly in Finland.
