AO Stiftung

The Foundation is a non-profit organization established by surgeons whose mission is to advance the field of trauma and diseases of the musculoskeletal system through research, development, clinical investigations and documentation, and training. To achieve this goal, the Foundation's assets and income are used to support and promote the following: the AO Research Institute in Davos; the worldwide dissemination of the AO concept; research, development, clinical studies, documentation, and training.
