Mission
The Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation, a non-profit, independent institution, promotes science. With a comprehensive program at its headquarters in Munich, it fosters dialogue between internationally renowned experts, young researchers, universities, libraries, government agencies, and civil society.
The Foundation awards fellowships and prizes to outstanding scholars. It also provides significant support to university and research libraries in acquiring literature.
As part of its program, the Foundation supports selected projects, particularly in the fields of philology, philosophy, mathematics, and botany. Through prestigious publication series and media partnerships, the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation strengthens the dissemination of research findings to a wider public.
