Fondation Al-Nibras

The foundation's purpose is to meet the religious, cultural, and social needs of Muslims in the Chablais region of Vaud and Valais, thereby facilitating their integration into Swiss society. The foundation pays particular attention to Muslim children in the areas of culture and recreation. It establishes and fosters close ties among community members and builds relationships of dialogue and cooperation with other associations and institutions with similar objectives. Its aim is to provide Muslims in Chablais with a mosque, offering a place for prayer, learning, and gathering open to the Muslim public. The foundation may build or acquire a mosque in Aigle in the future and decide on its management. The foundation may also collaborate on projects with similar objectives and seek funding to achieve these goals. In accordance with its purpose, the foundation operates throughout the Chablais region of Vaud and Valais.
