Mission
The Foundation was established by Mr. Avni Orllati, Mr. Basri Orllati, Mr. Besart Orllati, Mr. Gjevgjet Orllati, and Mr. Velush Orllati (the Founders), as a subsidiary of the Adrian Orllati Foundation, which commemorates Adrian Orllati, son, nephew, and brother of the Founders, who tragically died on a construction site in the spring of 2015. The Foundation pursues a specific objective, distinct from that of the parent Foundation. The Foundation is non-profit, apolitical, and non-denominational. Its mission is to serve the public good and to build and operate a retirement home for elderly people in precarious situations in the city of Rahovec, Kosovo. To this end, the Foundation will provide the necessary financial resources to achieve this objective, either independently or in partnership with other private or public entities, including public bodies in Rahovec and/or Kosovo. It may establish partnerships with third parties and undertake any activity it deems appropriate to further its purpose. The Foundation Board will define the amounts needed to achieve this goal and may develop other initiatives, including charitable actions, in the same spirit as that expressed above.
