Mission
Protect the environment and combat social injustice by promoting sustainable energy solutions in the Global South, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and India. The Foundation catalyzes the transition from fossil fuel dependence to renewable energy systems, focusing on Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) projects. The Foundation strives to make clean and reliable energy both accessible and affordable for underserved communities, thereby directly contributing to improving their socioeconomic status and promoting an equitable energy transition. The Foundation's mission closely aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy) and SDG 13 (combat climate change), embodying its commitment to a just and equitable energy transition that benefits both the planet and its people. The Foundation pursues solely public-benefit objectives and is not for profit.
