The purpose of the foundation is to run a retirement and nursing home on a non-profit basis and to rent inexpensive apartments for residents and citizens of the municipality of Maur and the surrounding communities, as well as to provide Spitex and care services in the municipality of Maur and the surrounding communities. The Foundation can enter into agreements with other communities or institutions on participation or shared use. As an exception, people from communities with which there are no contracts can also be admitted to the home. The rental of apartments with rents below the market value can be made dependent on compliance with income or asset limits. However, apartments are also to be offered at market conditions. The provision of additional retirement services is possible. The foundation can operate other retirement and nursing homes in the surrounding communities and offer Spitex and care services. For this purpose, it can acquire, hold, sell and encumber real estate for financing purposes. In order to fulfill the purpose of the foundation, the foundation can set up its own new organisations, support institutions with the same or similar purpose, participate in other institutions and conclude cooperation agreements. The foundation is politically and denominationally neutral.
