Mission
The purpose of the foundation is to acquire and ensure the continued existence of the holding company specified in the bylaws and the group of companies it comprises. The purpose of the foundation is to exercise appropriate influence over the management of the aforementioned group and thereby realize, further develop, and maintain the business concept specific to this group of companies by making donations and/or granting other benefits from the proceeds of the foundation's assets, and to support individuals, organizations, and institutions active in science, teaching, research, and development in the fields of architecture, interior design, or the design of furnishings and consumer goods of all kinds. The foundation is authorized to enter into all legal transactions that serve the pursuit and realization of its purpose. In particular, the foundation is also authorized to operate a commercial business within the legally permissible framework.
The Interogo Foundation is a corporate foundation and not a charitable foundation. However, the Interogo Foundation may donate to philanthropic purposes in the fields of medical research and architecture. The Interogo Foundation makes annual donations to the Berta Kamprad Foundation in Sweden to support cancer research, primarily at Lund University in Sweden, and to other recipients involved in cancer research.
