Mission

The purpose of the foundation is to distribute the annual income from the foundation's assets and a maximum of 20% of the foundation's total capital, calculated on the foundation's capital as of January 1, 2023, as follows: 1/3 by the Pro Juventute Foundation, Central Secretariat, in Zurich, for the benefit of needy children and families in mountainous regions; 1/3 by the Pestalozzi Children's Village Foundation in Trogen, for the benefit of the children of the children's village; 1/3 by the Swiss Lung League for the benefit of needy children who suffer from asthma and other illnesses. The Swiss Lung League is establishing a fund to fulfil this purpose. Should the need for one or other of the above purposes cease in the future, the Board of Trustees can use the funds released for other youth and family assistance tasks.
