The foundation's purpose is to pursue charitable, humanitarian, cultural, and educational goals, specifically by providing primarily recurring grants (1) to cultural, charitable, and humanitarian organizations of all kinds, (2) to organizations in the fields of education and research, and (3) for the promotion of gifted students.

Current funding priorities: Intercultural understanding; climate and environment; media literacy; arts and culture; humanitarian and social issues.
