The Markant Foundation supports projects that meet the following criteria:

Cultural sector

Contemporary cultural projects,

• Projects in the cultural fields of music, theater, fine arts, film and literature
• Scholarships for particularly gifted people

Non-profit sector

Social projects, especially

• Youth support
• Support for people with disabilities and socially disadvantaged groups

Geographical reference

• Main area of activity of the foundation: Canton of Schwyz and its neighboring areas (Nidwalden, Obwalden, Uri, Lucerne, Zug, Glarus, Zurich, Aargau, St. Gallen)

• To a lesser extent, with a well-founded request, support is also available in the rest of Switzerland

• Support is only available in very exceptional cases in Abroad
