Blackwell Foundation

The foundation aims to promote documentation and training in orthopedic surgery and other medical areas to improve the treatment of patient groups whose musculoskeletal system or other organ systems are congenitally damaged, damaged by growth disorders, degeneration or accidents. To this end, training projects in the field of research, technical development and clinical treatment methods are to be promoted and supported across social, cultural and national borders. The foundation can: cooperate with organizations with the same or similar objectives and take all measures that directly or indirectly serve to achieve its objectives; delegate tasks to be performed to other organizations, create new organizations and promote existing ones. The foundation is primarily involved in areas where its personnel expertise and financial resources can make long-term contributions to improving the medical treatment of patient groups whose musculoskeletal system or other organ systems are congenitally damaged, damaged by growth disorders, degeneration or accidents. The foundation acts in an unbureaucratic manner and without regard to the social background, ethnicity or religion of the patient groups affected or the people involved in a project or other beneficiaries. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
