Providing scholarships to talented young people, particularly those from the Alpine foothills and mountain regions; providing assistance to families and individuals who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own; providing scholarships to suitable young women who wish to train as nurses or childcare workers; providing teaching aids and materials for nursing schools; providing assistance to the Swiss mountain and Alpine foothill population; and providing assistance to Swiss social welfare organizations, particularly those in Zurich.
