Comprehensive protection of the Greina high mountain landscape, preservation of alpine rivers and natural landscapes in Switzerland; advocates adequate residual water levels in hydropower plants, promotes scientific, economic and other efforts to improve the situation in the mountain area in order to enable financially weak communities to obtain alternatives to the granting of water rights concessions; advocates environmentally friendly and decentralized energy sources as well as the rational use of energy, e.g. through the technical improvement of obsolete systems, especially in hydropower plants, in order not to continuously sacrifice untouched landscapes worthy of preservation to energy waste.
