The foundation pursues exclusively charitable purposes. The foundation is not bound by party politics or ideology. It is not for profit and has no profit making purposes. The purpose of the foundation is to promote artistic, scientific and educational projects and programs in music and the visual arts in Switzerland and abroad. She strives for cooperation with already existing institutions active in these areas (possible cooperation for example with the Paul Sacher Foundation or the Tinguely Museum, Basel). The grants can be used for performances, grants, exhibitions, presentations and the like as well as for specific projects such as book, audio or film publications. Furthermore, the foundation aims to promote the education and training of young artists in the field of music and the visual arts by making financial contributions to training, further education and training; Direct support from musicians and artists can also be made possible. The payment of benefits, in whatever form, to the founder, her family or related persons is excluded.
