The foundation is committed to supporting and promoting young people. To this end, the WHL Foundation develops and operates, in particular, socio-educational programs, such as residential placements for young people facing personal or family difficulties. In accordance with its purpose, the foundation operates in Winterthur and Eastern Switzerland. To achieve this purpose, the foundation may acquire real estate, rent premises, and operate residential homes and day centers. The foundation does not pursue any commercial objectives and does not seek to generate profit. It is politically and religiously neutral. The foundation may, in particular, cooperate with and/or support other organizations. It may establish and operate other legal entities or merge with them, provided its purpose permits.
