Dr. Stephan à Porta - Stiftung

The purpose of the foundation is to donate the income from its assets to charitable and non-profit institutions.

Donations are made exclusively to tax-exempt, charitable non-profit institutions, such as associations or foundations, in the city of Zurich and the canton of Graubünden that help people and contribute to improving their quality of life. These may include, for example, the socially and/or health-wise disadvantaged, people with disabilities, people with addiction problems, the elderly, asylum seekers, and migrants. Support for institutions with cultural objectives or private individuals is not provided for. Funding is primarily provided for projects that exceed the applicants' usual financial means and are of an extraordinary nature. Contributions to cover operating deficits, however, are only granted exceptionally and on a one-time basis in justified cases.
