the goals of the foundation are: the encouragement of the arts and culture, in particular through the Gandur Foundation for Art and / or in its own name in all useful forms, in particular material and financial; the foundation may support the creation and / or operation of a museum in Switzerland and / or abroad for the enhancement of the art collections and other cultural objects created by the founder or acquired subsequently, as well as the objects purchased by the foundation; for the purposes of achieving these goals, the foundation may extend its activities, or have them carried out by another foundation of the same nature, to research, study, publication and communication, meetings and exchanges, sponsorship and any other appropriate support as well as the purchase and sale of works of art in accordance with any regulations established by the founder; and support for the development and social integration of children, adolescents and young adults, with social, economic, cultural, psychological, mental and physical disabilities, and the prevention of such disabilities and support actions in favor of the underprivileged, marginalized, discriminated or disabled childhood or adolescence, in particular through the Gandur Foundation for Youth, in all useful forms, in particular material and financial; these goals may also be achieved by the support granted, (a) during the lifetime of the founder, to any other foundation or public utility organization constituted by the founder or approved by the latter, or (b), after the death of the founder , in the event of failure of one or both of the aforementioned foundations, to a foundation or organization according to (a) or to a replacement foundation or public utility organization constituted by the council, having the same purposes as the failing foundation, the where applicable, the board having the option of withdrawing support for the failing foundation.
