Mission
To contribute to improving education, nutrition, and health, as well as defending the rights and living conditions of women and children worldwide (see statutes for full purpose).
Full purpose: The non-profit foundation is an independent, public-benefit, philanthropic foundation whose aim, through its support, is to contribute to improving education, nutrition, and health, as well as defending the rights and living conditions of women and children worldwide. It may contribute, support, and participate, directly or indirectly, in the defense of fundamental rights and provide support to any private or public institutions and/or initiatives directly related to its primary purpose. The foundation may also provide assistance and support to medical research institutions and organizations supporting the needy, and provide direct or indirect assistance to destitute or needy people suffering from illnesses and requiring urgent medical care and/or surgery. In accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code, the founders reserve the right to change the purpose of the foundation, provided that ten years have passed since the foundation was established or since the last required amendment. The right to demand a change of purpose is non-transferable and does not pass to the heirs.
