Mission
The purpose of the foundation is: a) to promote public health throughout Switzerland and abroad by providing non-material and financial support for clinical and experimental research as well as the education and training of physicians and scientists in the field of integrative oncology. Support for industrial research is excluded. b) to promote and network services in the field of integrative oncology that benefit cancer patients. c) to inform patients, their families, and the interested public about the possibilities, but also the limitations, of integrative oncology. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may also support projects and individuals that serve integrative oncology and the well-being of cancer patients. This includes, but is not limited to, contributions in individual cases (e.g., for the (co-)financing of measures in integrative oncology, including complementary medicine therapies), grants to projects, programs, institutions, events, publications, and infrastructure. The foundation pursues neither profit-making nor self-help objectives. The establishment and operation of a for-profit enterprise by the foundation is prohibited. The foundation may, in particular, cooperate with and/or support other organizations, provided they are tax-exempt or eligible for tax exemption. It may establish and operate other legal entities or merge with them if its purpose permits. Mergers are only possible with tax-exempt institutions.
