The foundation supports financially weak people, especially women who are overwhelmed in their psychological or physical situation and who need some form of help to recover. Above all, it fulfills the purpose of the foundation in the following way: It enables people with limited means to stay at the Kurhaus Oberwaid in St. Gallen, in line with the will of Ms. Anita Hubacher in her will. She helps people, especially women, in their recovery through a stay in the monastery's own institutions: She pays part or all of the costs for a spa stay, namely in the cloister's own spa houses in Oberwaid in St. Gallen, Bergruh in Amden and Haus Bethania. It bears part or all of the costs that arise through appropriate care and support, therapy, education and accommodation for less well-off people, especially women, in the other monastery's own institutions. In special situations and in cases of hardship, it can assume health costs owed by third parties.
