The Paul Schuster Foundation was established in 2021. For months, co-shareholders, business partners, representatives of the subsidiaries and some employees of the waste disposal and environmental service provider Blasius Schuster worked secretly, quietly and quietly to launch it on the occasion of the 75th birthday of managing director Paul Schuster. It is the continuation of the courageous path of this committed entrepreneur.

Paul Schuster has been committed to giving children and young people a better future for years. The work of the foundation should tie in with this, but also with his commitment to** environmental protection** and** sustainability**. A school had already been built in the East African state of Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, before the foundation was set up. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in September 2020 and construction was completed in February 2021. Other projects of this kind will follow – as will numerous sustainability projects.

Blasius Schuster's corporate philosophy will also be reflected in the foundation. In contrast to normal organizations of this type, value is not created solely from the interest business and thus from existing assets. Instead, every tonne of minerals moved means that funds flow into the social commitment - in the interest of partners and customers, but above all of the people who need help.
