Furthermore, in individual cases, the foundation may support charitable, cultural, humanitarian, social, or educational purposes; the full purpose is set out in the foundation charter.

Die Promedica Stiftung plant im akademischen Jahr 2020 die Finanzierung von zwei wissenschaftlichen Oberärzten/Oberärztinnen. Die Stellen sind für Personen vorgesehen, welche ihr Curriculum Vitae an einem der fünf universitären Spitälern (Universitätsspital Zürich, Kinderspital Zürich, Orthopädische Uniklinik Balgrist, Psychiatrische Universitätsklinik und dem Zentrum für Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie) weiterentwickeln möchten, um sich für eine akademische Laufbahn vorzubereiten.
