The purpose of the foundation is: • to provide assistance and support to and from animal shelters that are not profit-oriented, particularly those in the canton of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft - in exceptional cases also in other parts of Switzerland - and that have dogs and cats deal with • Support that results in stray dogs or cats being housed in animal shelters and/or with private individuals, primarily in Basel-Stadt or Basel-Landschaft; • Support for people living mainly in Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft who, for financial reasons, cannot or can no longer afford a dog or cat by making it possible for them to pay maintenance costs such as dog tax, food, accommodation and veterinary costs, to get an animal, or not to part with their animal.
