The purpose of the foundation is to promote a high level of building culture, in particular in accordance with the values and goals of the 2018 Davos Declaration and the building culture strategies of the federal government, the cantons, cities and municipalities. The Swiss Building Culture Foundation conducts the dialogue between the public sector, business, civil society, teaching and research, and strengthens interdisciplinary and multisectoral cooperation in the areas of building culture. The fulfillment of the foundation's purpose also serves in particular: to raise awareness and raise awareness of a high building culture in Switzerland; Active engagement with current trends and challenges in the Swiss construction industry and building culture standards; Development and consolidation of building culture foundations; Promotion of the Baukultur quality in practice; Development of building culture quality for all branches of the economy, including tourism. The foundation is religiously neutral and abstains from any party politics. The foundation can support efforts of the same kind, namely those of the federal government, cantons and communes, and merge them with appropriate organizations in a suitable manner.
