Mission
The foundation's mission is to create favorable conditions for positive human development in a world characterized by social change. Its primary goal is to research and combat negative influences that could hinder the positive development of young people as early as possible. To achieve its mission, the foundation will commission research at the national and international levels, support education and training programs and related research projects, organize and finance national and international conferences, and support all other activities aimed at promoting positive human development. Furthermore, it will primarily support organizations, institutions, and individuals in Switzerland whose activities are suited to furthering the foundation's mission or, where appropriate, developing their own activities in Switzerland. Affiliated with the foundation is the Johann Jacobs Museum for the Cultural History of Coffee. It contributes to the communication of the foundation's activities by highlighting the importance of coffee as a means of communication for all social classes. The foundation is authorized to establish additional foundations in Switzerland and abroad within the scope of its mission.
